The first property I ever bought in my life was a small house – – I think it’s called a “patio home” since it’s a freestanding structure, but it’s a part of a bunch of homes on a large plot of land. It was way back in 1989, and I was recently down there in Sunnyvale and drove by it.(more…)

My latest pop culture obsession is the classic documentary Grey Gardens, which I’ve watched a number of times over the years. I re-watched it recently, and it’s as fascinating as ever.(more…)
